FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Will I pay customs fees on international orders?
In some cases, customs fees may be charged. I have no control over this, so if you are concerned about extra fees, please contact your local postal service.
  • How do you calculate shipping fees?
Shipping is based on weight. More shirts and larger garments equals more weight. While there is a minimum shipping amount for every order that gets sent out, shipping does become cheaper per item the more items that are added.
  • Is it safe to enter my credit card info into this store?
Yes. All of my transaction data, including credit card details, are handled by Wix, the provider of this website and shop. I do not personally have access to any of this information.
  • What type of shirts do you print on? Will they shrink? Is the print comfortable to wear?
My designs are printed on "Gildan 980" style shirts. They are 65% polyester, 35% cotton, so shrinkage is minimal. They are manufactured true to size (not slim-fitted or baggy). The fabric is very soft and lightweight. As for thickness, I use a special process that keeps the design feeling light and breathable, so it doesn't feel sweaty and rubbery from inside the garment. For best results, I recommend washing screen printed garments inside out in cool water, then drying on low heat. This will ensure designs that look great even after years of regular wearing.
  • What if there's an issue with my order?
Please use the "Contact" feature and I'll try to resolve it as quickly as possible! For order returns, please ship to the address shown on the received package.
  • Do you (Gameyy Builds) personally ship the orders?
In the past, I hired a fulfillment team to ship out individual orders, but as I prefer (and enjoy!) dealing with my customers directly and personally fulfilling the orders, I'm now handling everything on my own.
  • How do you package orders?
It really depends on the items. T-shirts are usually sent out in waterproof poly mailers, unless many are ordered at once, which may necessitate a box. Large (11" x 17") posters are carefully wrapped in packing paper and rolled into cardboard shipping tubes. If a single t-shirt accompanies a large poster in a single order, I'll usually roll that up and slide it into the center of the poster. Small (8x5" x 11") posters are sent in flat mailers if bought by themselves, but may be packaged in tubes if ordered with large posters or t-shirts. When ordered by themselves, stickers are always sent in card stock envelopes, then shipped in waterproof poly mailers. I do my best to make sure each order is carefully packaged and shipped!
  • Are you going to release an art book? And when is the novel coming?
I'm hard at work on my first full-length novel, and will let my viewers know as soon as it's ready. Once that is finished, I'll think about making an art book with some concept art I've done, short stories, and progress photos from my builds!
  • Do you write the stories for your builds?
Yep. At this point, everything (designing & conceptualizing, building, painting, filming, editing, scripting, writing & narrating the stories) is done by me. While I take obvious inspiration from sci-fi franchises like Star Wars and Dune, I'm gradually developing canon and "rules" for my universe, and reveal bits and pieces in the videos.
  • Are you working on a "Beyond the Blight" book?
Yes! And I hope to have it done sometime this year (2024!)
  • Are you a professional?
No, I don't consider myself a professional. While I have sold a handful of models, I've been kit-bashing and scratch building for about two years now, and I'm constantly learning from other artists on Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and so forth. I'm not sure I'll ever call myself a professional; the more I learn, the more I realize there is to know!
  • Where can I learn more about the Blight?
Currently, all of my blight lore is available for free in my YouTube video series. However, I do release all my stories (in text and audiobook formats) to Patreon. In addition, patrons get access to posts, 3D files, and behind-the-scenes insights into my creative process not available in the videos alone. You can check it out at www.Patreon.com/gameyybuilds
